Delayed bank settlement due to industry-wide scheduled maintenance on settlement systems (POLi remains online and operational) Oct 18, 2025 11:30-17:00 NZDT
From 11.30pm Saturday 18th October to 5pm Sunday 19th October - SBI will be closed, and no payment files will be sent between banks during this time.
Message from Payments NZ:
Payments sent from one bank to another will be delayed between 11:30pm on Saturday, 18 October 2025 and 5:00pm Sunday, 19 October 2025 to enable industry-wide scheduled maintenance on settlement systems. The maintenance is being conducted globally across multiple payment networks. Payments entered by bank customers during the maintenance period will be queued at the sending bank and will be processed from 5:00pm on the Sunday. Payments between accounts held at the same bank and card payments are unaffected.
